This beauty may not be the best actress in town, but she's proving to be an outstanding mother.

Star reports that Jennifer Aniston has been asked to present at this year's Academy Awards, which could make for supremely awkward moments on stage, back stage and on the red carpet.

Among the nominees that Aniston might find herself doling little gold men out to include her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, and his current gal, Angelina Jolie. Pitt, 45, and Jolie, 33, are up for awards in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Changeling, respectively. As every celebrity-gossip devotee knows, there's been bad blood between Aniston and Jolie.

If 39-year-old Marley & Me star Aniston happens to be in a brave mood that night, Jolie might come to regard the mangling and overlooking of her name at this year's Golden Globes as one of the kinder things that's happened to her lately.

Brad Pitt, 45, announced at an Oscar round table on Sunday that he's putting his Malibu home that he bought after splitting from Jennifer Aniston in 2005 up for sale.

The reason? The paparazzi.

MSNBC reports that fly-free Pitt says that the extreme interest in his and SAG Awards companion Angelina Jolie's lives has forced them to say goodbye to living in California.

“The publicity machine is out of control. It's everything we didn't sign up for,” Pitt said to Newsweek. “There's this whole other entity that you get sucked into. You have to go and sell your wares. It's something I never made my peace with. Somehow you're not supporting your film if you don't get on a show and talk about your personal life. It has nothing to do with why I do this.”

Fresh off performing at last week's Kids Inaugural: We Are the Future concert and making her latest homemade video with pal Mandy Jiroux, 16-year-old Disney star Miley Cyrus got right back to business over the weekend.

Here she's pictured at a video shoot, riding a horse while wearing a flowy white dress in the woodsy Los Angeles area of Canyon Country.

The peace-sign-loving performer also had flowers in her hair at various intervals.

Miley steered clear of any Lady Godiva-type antics, however, during the shoot. She certainly has learned her lesson from posing sans clothing for a highly controversial Vanity Fair photo session last spring.

Chicken or tuna? From the looks of Jessica Simpson lately, she'll have both.

The "Come on Over" singer, 28, performed an hour-long set at the KISS Country Chili Cookoff in Pembroke Pines, Florida, on Sunday, showing off a fuller form that was accentuated by her high-waisted jeans.

Has Simpson, who noted last year that she hopes to have six children, already begun assembling her army of rugrats?

Or has she been vigorously sampling the recipes in the cookbook issued by her boyfriend 28-year-old Tony Romo's football team, the Dallas Cowboys?

Naw; apparently she's just done trying to meet the unrealistic body expectations that modern society has thrust upon women.

"She's done depriving herself and missing out on life just to fit into a size 2 jeans," a friend of the singer/actress told OK! Magazine late last year. "She doesn't think there's anything wrong with the way she looks."

The group (including Lee Meriweather? Did she do shots?) then hit Prive nightclub before finishing up at LAVO at the Palazzo Hotel, where Mario was seen hooking up with a mystery lady! Was Lee Meriweather okay with that?

Hilary Duff and her boyfriend, New York Islander Mike Comrie, enjoyed a getaway to the Bahamas this past weekend.

Duff, 21, and Comrie, 28, who have been together since 2007, spent some time by the pool and laughed and canoodled their way around their island paradise.

Duff's earned the right to taking it easy for now; she's had a lot on her plate lately, with much more coming up.

Hilary's ready to return to TV, starting with a guest shot on CBS' The Ghost Whisperer.

EW reports that Duff will play a "mysterious young woman" who may be involved in a man's death.

The reason for the guest spot? Duff and Ghost Whisperer Jennifer Love Hewitt are best pals!

Hopefully Hilary can console Jennifer during the grief from her broken engagement.

The Ghost Whisperer is just Duff's opening salvo in her plan to take back TV. She was a young queen of the airwaves when she played Lizzie McGuire on the Disney Channel for four years.

NBC has green-lit Duff's new sitcom Barely Legal. She'll play the world's youngest attorney. Based on a true story!
