Harman Baweja may have lost in love but has made it up in cricket. Yes, he has split away from her girlfriend Priyanka Chopra, but has in the meantime improved his cricket skill and also got a pretty co-star Amrita Arora in his 'Victory' that is going to release on January 30th. Incidentally, this is a movie largely based on his favorite game of cricket. Harman bagged this movie because of his athletic physique and sportsman spirit. The movie's story revolves around a small town boy from Jaisalmer, who goes on to become the best cricketer in the world. And the boy is Harman Baweja! Besides Harman and his love interest in this movie Amrita Arora, the cast includes many cricketers like Navjot Singh Siddhu and Mohindar Amarnath besides some Australian and New Zealand players. Since his director had told him that Australian Cricket Board has given a green signal for its players to be a part of this film, he approached Praveen Amre who played for India in mid nineties, to lend him a helping hand. Interestingly, Australian pace battery Brett Lee, Harbhajan Singh among the 45 international players, have given special appearance in 'Victory' directed by Ajitpal Mangat. Among others in the movie are Anupam Kher and Gulshan Grover.
Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra have broken up for pucca! At least, Harman has for the first time accepted that their love affair is over. Until now he had been keeping mum on his love connection with Priyanka. This is to recall that the duo had been in love since they acted together for their first movie 'Love Story 2050'. This is another matter that the movie didn't click. They came closer to each other maybe Priyanka took the lead in this regard as she saw gloomy future for herself in the industry. Though the reports of their split took several rounds earlier but neither of the two had either admitted or denied it. Significantly, even in the wake of the present split between the two, Harman claims that they remain friends as ever and their personal relationship wouldn't be adversely affected. He says, "We're thorough professionals and continue to be great friends. It is fabulous working with her now as in the past. I don't think personal relationships should affect work."
The actor was upset with the reports that he used her relationship with Priyanka for publicity. According sources close to Priyanka, the actress is disturbed with the news of Harman's growing ties with his co-star Amrita in their forthcoming movie titled 'Victory'. Amrita has, on the other hand, denied her affair with Harman, and added that they are just friends and there is no basis for such gossips. We may mention that not in the distant past, Shahid Kapur and her love Kareena Kapoor had split on rumors of increasing proximity between Shahid and Amrita Rao after both acted together in a movie. Incidentally, there is a buzz in the industry that Priyanka is looking for a boyfriend in the industry!
