Despite best efforts from Christian Bale, Michael Phelps and Miley Cyrus, this week belonged to Lady Gaga.

The fascination with the tiny singer (all hair and thighs, as far as we can tell) only grows with each pop confection and dance costume. She's even managed to snag John Mayer's attention away from Jennifer Aniston long enough to get a sensory reaction.

That said, we figured you'd like a nice retrospect on the lady herself, from the earlier days of black leather onsies and blonde fringe to the Minnie Mouse hair bows and latex bras.
