Though ‘3 Idiots’ is essentially a story of three friends, ‘Zoobi Doobi’ is a romantic song that has been pasteurized on Aamir and Bebo to capture their sizzling chemistry on celluloid. Aamir says the song ‘Zoobi doobi’ is a tribute to the legendary actors - Raj Kapoor and Nargis. Besides, the act also includes the Titanic sequence where the two actors pose like Leonardo Di caprio and Kate Winslet in the ship. Raju Hirani has shot this scene in a small boat recently. Hirani confirms, ‘Zoobi doobi’ is indeed a tribute to romance in cinema, as we witnessed it over the years. They have taken memorable moments from romantic songs in other films in their song and shot with the rain and the moon as the backdrop to make it look visually attractive, says Hirani.
