What do you get the boy who has everything—including excellent taste in dinner companions?

If you're Zac Efron's mom, you give him the gift of safe sex for Christmas.

The 21-year-old High School Musical star and expert ball-handler tells Elle magazine in its April issue that his mother gave him a most unusual present this past Yuletide: condoms.

After Ma Efron saw pictures of her boy and his gal, 20-year-old Vanessa Hudgens, shopping in what appeared to be an adult-toy store, she sat Zac down for a perhaps long-overdue talk.

"My mom is like, Zac, what did you buy in a sex shop?'" Efron recalls. "I was like, 'Mom, calm down, it's not a sex shop.'"

But Mother Efron and her maternal instinct weren't having any of it. "She's like, 'I knew you were being sexual!' But she understood," Zac offers.

Perhaps she was too understanding, Efron explains. "My stocking was full of condoms this Christmas," he admits. "She buys me the economy box."

Twilight star Kristen Stewart has ratted out one of co-star Robert Pattinson's favorite artists to sing in karaoke.

ABBA!

Stewart and Pattinson were recently in Tokyo to promote Twilight, and spent an evening at a karaoke bar with Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman and Jackman's Australia director Baz Luhrmann.

Stewart reveals that she entered the bar and encountered Rob and Hugh having a "really, really elaborate ABBA moment." Mamma Mia!

No word on which Swedish supergroup song it was, though.

Stewart herself joined her co-star on Elton John's "Your Song." Kristen reports that she was impressed with Pattinson's singing talent.

"Rob could definitely do a musical," she said. Hopefully Baz, the director of Moulin Rouge!, was paying attention.

In addition to ABBA and Elton, Pattinson also pulled some David Bowie out of his bag of karaoke tricks in a duet with director Luhrmann. And Stewart says it got very lovey-dovey.

"It was really funny seeing Baz Luhrmann and Rob singing a David Bowie song," she says. "It was a talky one so they both could sort of talk to each other, and they were riffing back and forth. They were looking longingly into each other's eyes."

Attention, wizard fanatics!

A new trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been released, and from the looks of things the movie will be a magical cinematic experience indeed.

New York: Megan Fox seems to be setting herself up as the Geek Queen of Hollywood, moving from starring roles in Transformers and Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen to two other comic adaptations Warner Brother's Jonah Hex and Fox Atomic's Fathom.


The Hollywood Reporter announced that Fox is starring and helping to develop Fathom, and is in the final stage of negotiations for Jonah Hex.

In Jonah Hex, Fox will take the role of Leila, a gun-wielding female bounty hunter and love interest to Jonah Hex (Josh Brolin). She will join Hex as they track down a voodoo practitioner (John Malkovich), who is trying to raise an army of zombies to liberate the South.

For Fathom, Fox will take the role of Aspen, the main character from the comic created by the recently deceased Michael Turner. In the comic and film, Aspen discovers that her affinity for water is due to her status as a member of a race of aquatic humanoids who have the ability to control water.

While the release of these two films is still a long way off, fans of Fox can see her this year in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen and in the Diablo Cody-directed Jennifer's Body.

The 33-year-old actress was in Washington, DC, today, filming her upcoming spy thriller Salt with co-star Liev Schreiber.

Jolie, who sports both brunette and blonde coifs in the flick, was in straw-hair mode today, and was apparently filming a scene that required her to dash around in an urgent manner.

And she looked pretty good doing it.

Of course, with six young kids to chase after, she no doubt gets a lot of running experience.

Interestingly, Jolie's beau, Brad Pitt, was also in Washington today to meet with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and promote his charitable efforts for New Orleans.

It was reported last month that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen starlet Megan Fox and actor Brian Austin Green had broken off their engagement and split up.

Apparently, they have a funny—and sexy—way of handling their breakup.

Star is reporting that, even though she moved out of his home in the Hollywood Hills and checked into a hotel for the first two nights after their split, she went back and stayed with him each night anyway.

What's keeping them together?

"They've had problems with every facet with their relationship—except in bed," says a source.

The couple were also recently photographed together, adding fuel to the rumors that they just can't seem to stay away from each other.

That doesn't seem like the quickest way to achieve closure. But it does seem like a fun way to avoid it.

Ailing celebrity Jade Goody only has a short time to live, and has reportedly already said goodbye to her loved ones.

The former star of Big Brother in the UK, diagnosed with terminal—and spreading—cervical cancer, recently underwent surgery to ease the pain caused by her illness and is recuperating from the procedure.

"It's heartbreaking to see Jade like this, she's such a brave girl. She really needs to be surrounded by her friends and family at this time," a friend told the Daily Mail.

Her new husband Jack Tweedy was recently found guilty of assaulting a teenager with a golf club, but has been allowed to see his wife and apologize for his criminal behavior in the past.

"I was given permission to spend the night with Jade. I'm so happy—I just wish I could be there all the time. I told her I'm so sorry for my behavior in the past. It's meant I haven't been there for her the whole time," Tweedy told the press.

"I told her I've let everyone down but I've learned my lesson. And I said I'm worried that, once again, I won't be there for her and the family when they really need me."

Goody's publicist Max Clifford acknowledged the media coverage of the dying Goody could be considered slightly distasteful, but it has been something Jade wanted.

Goody has said in the past that she wants to ensure the ongoing education of her two young sons by selling pictures of her wedding to Tweedy to magazines, and documenting her cancer battle with a television special.

"Jade likes and enjoys the media spotlight. You have to marry all of these things. But if she continues to be in the kind of pain and condition she is in, then my advice increasingly will be, 'Don't you think enough is enough?,'" Clifford said.

Taylor Swift would seem to have everything to live for these days. But as the 19-year-old country-music sensation reveals to MTV.com, she harbors a very dark fantasy.

"I've always joked around with my record label and my mom and everybody—all my friends know that my dream is to die on CSI," Swift admits. "I've always wanted to be one of the characters on there that they're trying to figure out what happened to."

Swift may have her wish granted tonight. The singer's guest appearance on the hit crime drama airs tonight at 9 p.m. EST, with Swift portraying Haley Jones, a teenager whose parents own a run-down hotel with a history of serving as a murder scene.

The episode will follow a year of Jones' life with obviously tragic consequences, but it has not yet been revealed if Swift's character will meet her demise.

The game begins with Hayden, an American special forces agent, sent to a military-esque compound in the fictional Soviet nation of Lasria. He tries to back out of his mission before it has hardly begun, but his superior, communicating via radio, says that he is past the point of no return. Hayden makes short work of all enemy resistance and finds himself face to face with his target, a fellow agent named Viktor, tied to a chair. Viktor is under the impression that Hayden is here to rescue him. He even tells him information to aid him on his way. Hayden swiftly puts a bullet right through his skull. After reporting that he has completed his mission, his superior decides to send him after Mezner, the man responsible for the Technocyte infection that has been ravaging the country of Lasria. Hayden proceeds through the compound; defeating several dozen more soldiers and even a helicopter, as well as planting C4 charges throughout the compound. Hayden then finds himself face-to-face with a seven foot tall metal creature of some sort (Nemesis). Hayden attempts to defeat the monster by way of firing an RPG at it, but the metallic figure stops the RPG mid-air and redirects it at Hayden. Hayden is forced to jump off of a cliff to avoid the missile, and upon waking up, once again finds himself face to face with his target, this time laying on the ground as Mezner lectures him. As Hayden attempts to reach for his gun, Nemesis appears and stabs his right shoulder. Upon instruction from Mezner, it transfers the infection into Hayden via the wound. It appears that he was going to kill Hayden, but Hayden quickly detonates the C4 charges set earlier and manages to escape.
